The group continues downriver, relying on trail rations and conjured water and plenty of beer and wine, thanks to their enchanted jug. They pass the carcass of a large dinosaur being fed upon by the same species of bloodsucking vermin that attacked them further upriver. Through their stomachs growl at the prospect of dinosaur meat, the group decides to pass by quietly.
