The party awakens to three unfamiliar figures inspecting their makeshift camp. They appear to be sisters, clad in dinosaur hides and with yklwas plunged into the earth behind them. They confess that they found the group after overhearing their flight through the jungle, and ask after the group’s purpose. They seem unconvinced of the party’s abilities to defeat Ras Nsi. They question the group about their plans after defeating Ras Nsi, and continue to express their doubts. They point the group toward Omu, then disappear before their eyes.
Goldtusk scours the area for evidence of the sisters’ passing and discovers that the campsite has been overrun by ants. The group debates whether to move camp to avoid the ants or to stay put, but by the time they approach a decision, the ants have dispersed. The party spends the rest of the day avoiding drowning on land.
