As the group breaks camp, Goomy spies a shadow pass over the camp. With a bit of trepidation, he spots overhead the silhouette of a dragon. The group scatters and attempts to hide as the dragon slowly descends on the remains of the campsite. It fails to notice much of the group as it lands. It expresses interest in the group’s intent and begins interrogating them. Tzindelor, or Tinder, as she prefers to be called. asks the group of their plans with Hrakhamar. She “requests” that they liberate the forge on her behalf, to Musharib’s ire. Via message, Sin assures Musharib that the group does not plan to betray him. Therdek questions Tinder’s ability to retake the mine on her own, risking the dragon’s furor. Tinder seems intent on making a meal of Therdek until Sin convinces Tinder that a tastier, treasure-laden group awaits her to the North. After weighing her options, Tinder decides to pursue the scent of treasure with a final warning, “you will likely die in that forge.” Unfazed, the group continues through the gorge, picking past charred bones and jagged basalt columns until they reach the exit of the gorge into the Valley of Lost Honor.
