The group decides to head south in search of the ruins of Tamoachan toward Ataaz Kahakla, the “Gorge of Death.”
The group travels onward along the River Tath before coming across a small settlement. The Chultans there speak only Tabaxi, so Borislav and Sana translate. They trade some provisions (a tenday for each person) and some bug netting in return for a pair of onyx stones. They also treat them to a warm meal and show them to some fresh water for their waterskins.
